FIA Excello's Rocky Bay |
Rock has a very bright, dense, fine beautiful handle to his dark fawn fleece. He has a beaming presence, straight conformation and a temperament we wish every male possessed, confident and gentle.
Rock comes from superior genetics starting with his sire, Excello of PVA. Excello has amazing fleece and the judges think so as well. Excello’s sire is Elite Maximus, need we say more. Rock’s dam is a beautiful Poseidon’s Isaac daughter, named Charmed I Am Sure, that won a championship @ AWE in 2009. She has incredible staple length, lots of color, including true black in her pedigree, and beautiful character to her fleece!!
Rock’s got it all: evolved fleece architecture, denisty, brightness and fineness and it’s all packed onto a perfect frame with a great head. He has already had his first cria of many more due this fall! Look for them in the show ring next spring!

Delphi's Levi |
Levi is like a fine wine, the older he gets, the better he is! Not only has he placed 1st and 2nd in halter at previous shows, he also took a 3rd in MB fleece at the 2009 Nationals with a score of 19 out of 20 for his fineness and handle! Levi’s histograms have all been great, with low micron and low SD. He has great density, gorgeous crimp, very uniform and incredibily fine fleece ~ plus a wonderful personality wraps up this perfect package! Levi’s sire, AVATAR, a light rose grey Multi-Champion, is available for very limited breedings. His dark brown mother, Ally May, is out of a medium rose grey Canadian sire. His full sister, Appeline, is a National Fleece Color Champion! Levi has proven he can pass on those rose grey genetics he inherited from both of his parents. His crias are extemely dense with lots of staple length and a consistent fine crimp with a silky handle. Levi has proven himself as a worthy herdsire and we are certainly hoping for more grey crias in the future!
Misty Ridge Excalibur’s Beckham |
Beckham is extremely handsome and just a gentleman. We refer to him as “the gentle giant”. His first cria came in March 2011, a beige girl named Dandi. She has very uniform fleece like Beckham. We had to shear her twice the first year, and the staple length still caught up to the other alpacas!! He has thrown quite a few light colored, uniformed fleeced crias, and in 2013, he had 2 beautiful brown crias!!! Their fleece is getting good comments from the Judges!
Beckham’s father is Pacific Crest Caligula’s Excalibur and his grandsire is Caligula. His dam is from one of Magical Farms foundation females, Boveda. Beckham’s great grandsires are CPeruvian Silvio (medium silver gray), PPeruvian Guellermo, and PPeruvian Camilio. He has won several 1st place ribbons and several color reserve championships in his short show career. His fleece won 1st place at the TXOLAN 2011 show in Fort Worth. His fleece is extremely uniform with dense fleece from his head to his tail with that buttery soft handle that you love to sink your fingers into! Spinners love to spin directly from his raw fleece!
DJS Classic Bolt |
Bolt is a light fawn male, the very first cria born on our farm!! Bolt is a CHR Texas Hi-Lite son, an Alladin of KPR grandson, and a Royal Inca Legend great grandson, so black and silver gray are in his background!
He did well in the show ring for several years and won several blue ribbons. Bolt even won a Reserve Championship in Fayetteville as a juvenile! Bolt also won 3rd place in the “Bred and Owned Yearling” class at the A-OK Blastoff in Shawnee! He is a real compact male with a very laid back personality with beautiful fleece.
We are currently breeding him to SEVERAL of our females in 2014 and cannot wait to see his crias!!
Escondido's The Spaniard |
The Spaniard is the first born son of our recently retired standing stud, AGA Moonshine. Spaniard is a Macintosh grandson, with PPeruvian Demetrio as a great-grandfather and Ghengis Khan as a Great-great-grandfather. He is a nice medium brown with black tips.
He has completely correct conformation, as Judge David Barboza recently related at a herd evaluation (5/24/14). Even his last fleece – at almost 10 years of age, had very little guard hair in it and his yearling fleece was “very nice” according to Judge Barboza.
He has dense, bright fleece. Spaniard was shown only, twice and took a 2nd at MOPACA and a 4th at Arkansas in 2006 in Brown Yearling male. Both tough shows back then. He never got a chance to breed as the breeder had removed color from her herd back then. She just adored him too much to let him go. He was bred once before he came to our farm in late 2012 and had a beautiful dark brown female born in October 2013.
We have bred him and we are now looking forward to several excellent, dense and fine crias in 2015 like his sire, Moonshine, gave us for so many years.
