PHAR Play Mysty For Me |
Mysty is a large female and is the alpha alpaca, or as we refer to her, “the queen” or “her highness”…she has an air about her. She is white and is very laid back. She has a lot of room for a baby and is an experienced mother with very rich milk.
Mysty has given us JoJo, 101, Bolt, Colby and Myster. Together Bolt and 101 received 2nd place in the Produce of Dam class at the A-OK Blastoff (2010) in Shawnee, OK. The Judge’s comment was that their fleece character was slightly different ~ both the boys had different sires. This means that Mysty’s best qualities are coming thru!
We purchased Mysty from a breeder that specialized in only white or light alpacas and had been in the business 15 years. Mysty’s sire is Crescent Moon’s Rainier and her great grandsire is Acero Marka’s Mr Know It All.
Riddick's Cinnamon Girl |
Cinnamon, a light brown female, has loads of gray and black in her background.
She produced a true black son with white blaze on his forehead sired by AGA Moonshine. We did the same breeding again and were blessed with a white female, Ice Angell, with brown spots on her back.
She has been a very valued part of our foundation herd. What a great mama to start off with. She is very loving to her offspring and provides them plenty of rich milk. She births easy and knows what to do. An excellent mother is an invaluable trait, especially for new breeders!!
Cinnamon is a Silversmith great granddaughter. You decide who the stud will be next year!
WHR Nova's Gold's Marigold |
Marigold is a Snowmass Nova’s Gold daughter, Snowmass Nova granddaughter, and a Snowmass Peruvian Casanova / Snowmass Drambuie’s Kaluaha great granddaughter! Lots of color there, including rose gray!
She gave birth last year to little Butter-cup, a brown-gold female – a “spittin image” ~ sorry for the pun ~ of her mother.
This year she gave birth to Double Dip, a light fawn female, possibly Moonshines last cria. We can’t wait to show Dip as she has turned into a beauty! We will be weaning her this fall, if her mother doesn’t do it herself this summer!
Marigold is an easy to handle female. We recently bred her to our stockiest herd sire, Delphi’s Levi, to add more density and fineness.
